One of a million -- sort of...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! another year, another blog! yes, i'm sure there are many people out there that have a resolution to start or revamp a blog around January 1st. it's a time when we reflect, daydream about our hopes and dreams for the next 12 months, and feel the creative bug bite as we want to spin our thoughts into the universe for many to read. in this regard, i admit, i am one of a million.
as some of you know, 2010 held a tremendous adventure that has really just begun. four months ago (today, in fact) we closed on our new home in South Carolina. the reason we moved here is simply God. He came up with this crazy idea to take us out of our idyllic Kentucky existence and put us on a path that only He could pave. and that is where this blog picks up. my desire is to use this medium to record what God is doing, and how this stubborn, spunky, sensitive sara responds.
one of the parameters i hope to uphold is to keep this honest. there will be days that are not comfortable -- we all have them. i pray that my sharing connects others together as we step through this life together. some days we feel like we crawl, most days we walk. there are days when we run, and days that we fall down are bound to happen -- but we get back up and try again. on a rare day we get to skip -- here's to more skipping days!
